About this piece: This piece was borne out of a deep relationship to the element of fire. At the lower end, the circular molten core of the earth, also indicative of a womb and ovaries, a woman’s sexual and creative fire. Next, the digestive fires, units of energy are released from food that we eat, food that has absorbed sunlight (fire) either directly by plants, or indirectly by animals. Fuel for the body, for the heart-beat. Next is the sacred flame at the heart space, then the illumination of the mind and at the top, the central sun of our solar system providing the energy for life here on earth.
