Funky and feisty – the flip side – meet Little Miss Chief!
Made as part of my degree show, on handmade paper using black ink. Firstly, a few broad strokes were made using watered down ink on the paper (the blueish marks) and left until nearly dry. Using a nib pen dipped in black ink, images were uncovered in the texture. Little miss chief appeared to act out scenes from her chaotic life, interacting with the nature of the ink and the paper. There are 106 drawings in the original series, a selection of which have been put into print.
